Wildflower Walk
Come Walk Among the Flowers
Join the Friends of riverside Park and environmentalist Dave Bendlin at 9:00 am on Saturday, May 4th to view the beautiful display of flowers on the Historic Devil's Staircase segment of the Ice Age Trail in Riverside Park.
We will meet at the North Pavilion
The walk will feature the lime stone outcroppings of the upper trail, sand stone formations, and hillsides covered with some of the 29 varieties of spring wildflowers.
The walk is of moderate difficulty and will take ~ 1.5 - 2 hours.
If interested in taking a longer hike ...Dave will continue to the Janesville Arboretum. If you wish to participate please contact Dave at 868-3824 by May 3rd to set up a return shuttle.
